An authentic late Victorian/Edwardian ribbed ceramic preserve jar produced for W.P. Hartley (Liverpool & London). Features vertical fluted sides and authenticity stamp on the bottom saying “Not genuine unless bearing Wm P. Hartley’s Label.” A classic piece of English kitchenalia, perfect as utensil pot or a flower vase. Waterproof due to glazing. Dates from circa 1890-1920.
