This plate is a more unique piece of transferware compared to the typical willow patterns. It features a striking Blue Dragon pattern by Cauldon Potteries Ltd. It has cobalt blue dragon and geometric decoration, with a gold edging to the outer and inner rim. Dating to circa 1920-1930s, it’s in good condition. Wearing to the gold and one small chip on one edge. No cracks or crazing.
Stamped on the reverse with the classic Cauldon wyvern mark and ESTD 1774 backstamp.
