Vintage Minton Haddon Hall Trinket / Butter Dish
This gorgeous trinket or butter dish is from the world-renowned Minton pottery line. Made of fine bone china, it features the stunning "Haddon Hall" pattern. The vibrant, multi-coloured floral chintz design is inspired by the historic 15th-century tapestries of Derbyshire’s famous Haddon Hall manor house. Originally created by famed Minton Art Director John Wadsworth, the pattern is framed perfectly by a delicate, distinctive green trim along its softly fluted, wavy rim.
Crafted in England, it’s perfect for using simply as a decorative piece, for holding jewellery, butter or nibbles on. It dates from between the 1970s and 1990s.
Great vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The colours remain bright and the green rim is intact.
11cm wide.
