An old wooden bobbin has been modified to be made in to a functioning hourglass. Perfect for use for games or just as a fun decorative piece. It adds warmth and a rustic touch with the dark wood and the two tones of metal.
Bobbins, or spools, are what held thread and yarn. Lancashire was famed for Bobbin mills, mass producing them out of birch, ash or hazel.
