An authentic late Victorian/Edwardian ribbed ceramic marmalade/jam jar produced for W.P. Hartley (Liverpool & London). Features vertical fluted sides and the iconic embossed lighthouse trademark on the base. A classic piece of English kitchenalia, perfect as a pen pot, toothbrush holder or small flower vase. Waterproof due to glazing. Dates from circa 1890-1910.
